The Dragon pack is my first backpacking/ trekking specific UL pack. this is a fully featured roll top pack  which includes custom fitting of the back length, hipbelt length and shape and fitted shoulder harness. The 45 L pack, pictured, weighs 32 ounces with frame and full foam padded back panel.

this pack is ideal for backpacking, built to be as long lasting as my alpine packs. Ideal for long trips like the AT, CDT, or the PCT.

Details:

Fabric; the pack is offered in 3 fabric choices. the 5 oz Dyneema Dragon printed fabric ( many color options). the 2 oz or 4 oz woven UHMWPE from Challenge sailcloth in black or white. X Pac VX21 in any color available. please see "" to see stock VX21 colors.

Frame: twin 7075-T6 aluminum stays are standard. removable . but why take them out? they weigh 3 ounces for the pair.

Foam back pad: the foam back pad is a full length folded 3/8" closed cell foam pad, that is 3/4" thick. this rides against your back in a zippered compartment. the stays at attached to the outer panel of this compartment away from your back. you will never feel the stays against your body. easy to use as part of your sleeping system.

Volume: there are 3 volumes available 35L, 45L and 55L. price difference due to type of fabric.
