Why a “Flat” Vacuum Bag?

Packmate Flat vacuum storage bags are the most popular type used by many of our customers.

As the name suggests, they compress flat and are ideal for storing under a bed or in drawers, as well as in the usual attic, garage or cellar space.

Packmate space saving bags also protect the contents from dirt, dust, damp and bugs.

What size of bag do I need?

We have created a “Pillow Graph” to help guide you on the right size of bag to choose. Please see the pictures on this listing.

This is based on the average sized hollow fibre pillow.

You can use pillow filled with down as well in a Packmate bag.

Remember the bigger bags can be quite heavy and are large when compressed so consider where the bag is going to be stored when choosing.

How much space do I save?

On average you can create up to 4 times more space using a Packmate vacuum Storage Bag.  This will depend on what you are storing and the size of bag you are using.

Do I need a special vacuum cleaner?

Packmate space saving bags are designed to work with most vacuums with a hose.

They will also work with most cordless vacuums although you may find that they compress more slowly.

What are Packmate Vacuum Storage Bags made from?

Packmate vacuum storage bags are made from a multi-layer laminated blend which include Nylon to help prevent rips, punctures and tears

They provide years of use and when you have finished with them they can be recycled.

At the moment there is not a way of making the bags out of recycled materials as we get re-inflation, but we are working on it – watch this space….
